Fircroft An Established Oil Company (PSC) in Indonesia is searching a qualified candidates for:
Senior Geologist for Exploration Manager position
Requirements:
• Bachelor s Degree and Master Degree in Geology (advanced degree an asset);
• A minimum of 20 years experience in exploration with a least 7 years technical competence in gold and/or copper geologic environments and terrains;
• Strong experience managing multicultural exploration teams and mentoring national employees;
• Business Acumen and Economic Skills - The ability to comprehend economic play types as well as the acumen to evaluate new areas that will strategically align with the company s current land holdings, as demonstrated by previous projects and achievements;
Responsibilities:
• Planning and implementing the Company s exploration activities. Contribute to corporate strategic plan;
• Preparing and implementing a consolidated exploration plan and budget to achieve goals and objectives of the company s strategic plan;
• Participate in the development of exploration property to production stage as needed;
• Plan and direct early stage exploration activities. Oversee all aspects related to exploration of the Company s projects including land management, data management and maintenance of technical standards;
• Review ongoing updates of reserve statements from operations, interpret and make development recommendations. Report exploration results and expenditures to the President and C.E.O. on a regular basis as to be agreed upon;
